I just heard about Nicola Morgan's wonderful idea for World Book Day - while she understands that giving out 1 million free books should have a positive effect, she also wants to boost authors and publishers by getting people to
buy a book in honour of WBD. Do
go and read her blog and perhaps even pledge to join in!
I came across Nicola via a mention in the Guardian. I'm giving out 48 copies of The World's Wife tomorrow night but I'm also going to buy a book from my local tomorrow and give that away as Nicola suggests.
