Thought lab life was dull and boring? Think again!

One of the scientists at the lab I am writer-in-residence in sent this around yesterday and I think it's wonderful! It's for all of you who think science is about hard fact, about right and wrong, about automatons in lab coats who reveal the truth of existence on a daily basis. Umm, no, not quite...

I know! I think a lot of it is pretty spot on, apart from the dresses, of course ;)

That is amazing! My GF is a scientist and I just sent that to her. She does those experiments but she hasn't told me about any music video parodies in her lab.

What is your job then Tania?

Hi Alex,
I'm working on a short story collection inspired by being embedded in a biochemistry lab and by a 100-year-old biology text. It's such fun! I studied physics, so biochemistry is wonderful new to me. What field is your girlfriend in?

Sarah - hysterical, aren't they?

Anon - who are you??!! And yes, other career options...

Lauri - thanks, I was delighted when I stumbled across this template. I do it about once a year- just google "blogger templates", there are 1000s.

Brilliant. Loved it!!! At least they had great fun making the video. I loved the bit when she started singing in Chinese instead of French!
