By the time this blog post goes up I will be in Plymouth for my event tonight at the Central Library as part of the first Plymouth International Book Fest - do come if you are in the area, we kick off at 6.30pm!

I am around and about a lot over the next 8 weeks and I wanted to list all my events here, and if any of you can come to something, it would be great to meet you. Wow! I'm sure these will all be great and great fun for you. but just the thought of organising, planning etc all these events gives me a stomach ache. I don't know how you do it. And I thought I was busy!

It is probably the busiest 8 weeks of my writing life! To be honest, mostly I just need to book train tickets and then I decide what I'm going to read, if it's a reading, on the train on the way there. The flash workshops starting tomorrow in Cork did require a lot of preparation, but it's finding lots of flash stories that I love, so it's fun! And that will be so useful in the future, every workshop gives me more for the next one. But yes, in October I have 10 days with an event every other day... my worst fear is probably boring myself!
