Huge congratulations to Vanessa!

Many many congratulations to my great friend and colleague Vanessa Gebbie for being awarded second prize in the FISH short story competition - for the second time! A marvellous achievement, there were 1500 entries.

Umm, Tom, my screw-up, in all the excitement I added an extra '0'. 1500 entries. 15000 would have been all short story writers in the known universe!

1500 short stories is a heck of a lot of stories anyway. And actually, when you think about it, a heck of a lot of dosh going into the Fish coffers too. Congrats to Vanessa.
