It's here it's here it's here it's here it's here it's here

As I pressed the Publish button on that last blog post, the doorbell rang.

Guess what?

So wonderful. I'm holding my book. I'm a bit wobbly. I am going to carry it around everywhere with me. The cover is stunning. It looked good on screen, but it looks so much better in the flesh, so to speak. Wow. Now it's real. Now it's real.

Photo with author and offspring coming later!

Congratulations, Tania! I spent some time with your stories, yesterday. Love 'The White Road', and 'Mugs' and 'Sunspots' and so many others. I'm saving some for quiet moments during the coming week. Looking forward to the photos!

Yes, that cover is really good. There is definitely something to be for black&white in some cases.
I had forgotten that you would have post on a Sunday. So nice to see you happy.

WRW - I do cherish it, thank you.

Sarah - so glad you are enjoying it! No rush, I won't be quizzing you on it when we meet :)

Pierre, thanks, you are sweet. And yes, no post here in Israel on Fridays or Sat, but the postaman grudglingly turns up on Sundays.

Douglas, how thrilling for me that you havee favourites, Rainstiffness was a story I always loved but which got rejected from everywhere I sent it. A "collection" story, obviously. Thank you.

Anne, you are lovely, thank you.

V - pic is up! I think it looks just like me :)

Matt - do let me know if you don't receive the review copy in a week, I believe Jen sent them out on Friday.
