This is great.

Expect some pretentious comments though.

I have just responded to one pretty 'snow-blinded' one.

Best

Nik and Vanessa, it is SO exciting, ANOTHER dream come true...!

Douglas - you are FABULOUS, thank you for your wonderful comment in response to the rather strange one. She actually also emailed me to point out that she'd left a comment, not to apologise, but also to say that she enjoys stories about the Antarctic and will be passing it on to a friend. So I wrote back very warmly, thanked her for taking the time, and pointed out that she was actually complaining about my grammatically-inept main character, not the story itself, and that in the first person, these days many allowances are made for quirky speech and grammar! Funny, eh?!

PS DId you see that the 1st comment " has been found to be in breach of our terms of use and has been removed." Now I am intrigued!!! Was it deeply offensive??!

There's another comment about the "poor grammar"... goodness, I am offending many people!

I also responded to another comment about bad grammar. Hopefully, things are a little more positive. I hope lots of people will be intrigued and buy the book.
