SOLD OUT Oct - Dec I am re-running the 8-week online flash fiction writing course I began teaching through the excellent London Lit Lab in July. It starts on Oct 20th and is open to both new and experienced writers, anywhere in the world.

Nov 12th I'm delighted to be reading at the launch of Rosie Garland's new poetry collection, What Girls Do In The Dark. More details coming soon.

Nov 17th I'm talking to students at Edge Hill University about my flash fiction collection, My Mother Was An Upright Piano, which is one of their set texts.

Nov 19th I will be taking part in an online event as part of Being Human, as one of three writers commissioned to write new pieces on the topic of Ethical Artificial Intelligence. Details coming soon.

Nov 25th 7.30pm UK time: I am doing an online flash fiction reading and Q&A along with the fabulous David Gaffney. Details here, tickets free but booking necessary >>

April Booking is now open for a brand new, 4-week online course I will be running for the London Lit Lab - Science-Flavoured Writing! No scientific knowledge needed, just bring pen, paper and curiosity. Subsidized places are available. All the details are here.
